Now a day the biggest problem that we are facing is impurified environment. Air we breathe in our big cities is filled with dust, toxins & smoke, thus we get attacked by many diseases like throat infection, fever, body pain, headache and many more…

Most of our time are been spend indoors; either in office or in home. The solutions of this problems are many like electronic air purification systems but they are expensive & not natural. Nature have every solution if we consider it. According to studies there are effective indoor plants which doesn’t need much light & care and they purify the air also. Some are as follows:

1. English Ivy:

NASA scientists listed the English ivy as the number one best air-filtering houseplant, as it is the most effective plant when it comes to absorbing formaldehyde. It’s also incredibly easy to grow and adaptable — try it as a hanging or a floor plant. Grow in moderate temperatures and medium sunlight.

2. Bamboo Palm:

This small palm thrives in shady indoor spaces and often produces flowers and small berries. It tops the list of plants best for filtering out both benzene and trichloroethylene. They’re also an excellent choice for placing around furniture that could be off-gassing formaldehyde.

3. Rubber Tree:

Rubber trees are good for cleaning the air and are one of the easiest plants to grow, as they thrive even in dim lighting and cooler climates. The low-maintenance plant is a powerful toxin eliminator and air purifier.

4. Peace Lily:

The beautiful peace lily plant is a wonderful low-maintenance flower to keep in the home. Peace lilies do well in shade and cooler temperatures, and they can reduce the levels of several toxins in the air.

5. Snake Plant:

Snake plants don’t need much light or water to survive, so they’re an easy choice for any corner of your home. The plant absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen during the night (while most plants do so during the day), so add one to your bedroom for a clean-air boost.

6. Golden Pothos

The golden pothos makes the NASA list for its ability to clear formaldehyde from the air. Try adding it to your kitchen or living room as a hanging plant, as the leaves will grow down in cascading vines. They grow easily in cool temperatures will low levels of sunlight

7. Areca Palm

The Areca Palm was considered the most efficient air purifying plant. The Areca Palm (Dypsis lutescens) is also an excellent air humidifier. The advantage these plants have is that they are adapted to tropical areas where they grow beneath dense tropical canopies and must survive in areas of low light. These plants are thus ultra-efficient at capturing light, which also means they must be very efficient in processing the gasses necessary for photosynthesis. Because of this fact, they have greater potential to absorb other gases, including potentially harmful ones.
